Amboseli is famous for large-tusked elephants walking the dry lakebed with Mount Kilimanjaro filling the sky. Swamps draw elephant, hippo and birdlife, while Maasai villages on the park edge offer respectful cultural visits. Clear mornings from January to March are prime for mountain views.
