How Much Does a Kenya Safari Cost in 2026?
Daniel Otieno · 30 September 2026
Prices below are per person sharing, mid-2026, and include park fees, guiding, accommodation and meals on safari. They exclude international flights and visas.
Budget joining (shared minibus): from about USD 475–700 for 5 days. Vehicles are crowded; flexibility is low. We rarely sell these except for backpackers who ask.
Private mid-range 4x4 (Nayora’s core): 3-day Mara from USD 1,090; 6-day Mara–Nakuru–Amboseli from USD 1,870; 7-day Mara and Diani from USD 3,200; 10-day two-park and beach from USD 4,750. This is the sweet spot — a vehicle for your party, proper camps, honest food.
Luxury and private conservancy: USD 5,800–9,000+ for a week when you add Angama-style camps, scheduled flights and balloon.
Peak July–October and 15 Dec–1 Jan add 20–40 percent. Solo travellers pay a single supplement.
Always ask what is included. Park fees alone for the Mara are substantial, and ‘from’ prices that omit them are not prices.
Nayora publishes USD and KES on every package and will itemise on request.
